Jos White is a partner at Notion Capital, which he co-founded in 2009. Jos has co-founded three businesses (RBR Networks, Star and MessageLabs) turning them all into market leaders with revenues in excess of $100m and a combined value of nearly $1bn. In 2002, Jos moved to New York to lead MessageLabs expansion into the US market. In 2008, MessageLabs was acquired by Symantec for $700m. Jos is a well-known entrepreneur and marketer in the US and UK.
He has spoken at numerous industry events and appeared on the BBC, CNBC, NBC and ITV on subjects that range from cloud computing to marketing and brand strategies through to being an entrepreneur turned investor. Jos holds a BA in English Literature and divides his time between London and New York.
Ravi joined NEA in 2004 and co-heads the firm’s Technology Venture Growth Equity investment practice. Ravi’s investments in the software and technology sectors include Acquia, BloomReach, Boku, Captora, Desire2Learn, Forter, MOVE Guides, and Mulesoft. Ravi’s investments in other sectors include Availink, Goji, Imergy Power, and Suniva. Prior to NEA, Ravi worked at Goldman Sachs as co-head of the technology practice in their private equity group.
Ravi has also worked for McKinsey & Company and Raychem Corporation, focusing on R&D in various materials systems.Ravi received an MBA from Wharton and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UCSB. Ravi also earned a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the Wharton Entrepreneurship Advisory Board.
Brynne Herbert is the CEO and founder of MOVE Guides. Under her leadership, MOVE Guides has grown from an idea to an award winning start-up working with the world’s largest companies and supporting moves across 5 continents. Brynne is part of London’s Tech City Insider 100 and the SV2UK 100 (CEOs of 100 top UK tech companies). She is also a recognized subject matter expert on talent mobility, entrepreneurship and gender equality, and a registered Global Mobility Specialist with Worldwide ERC. Brynne has lived in the US, EMEA and APAC, and speaks 5 languages.
Prior to starting her own business she worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Standard Chartered. Through these experiences she gained a unique understanding of global talent at multinational organizations, by repeatedly moving as an expat herself and watching her colleagues navigate the challenges of international moves. Brynne holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in History from Yale University, where she was a member of the Ivy League Championship gymnastics team.
Steve leads the product team at MOVE Guides, ensuring a great user experience through each stage of the employees’ relocation. An expatriate himself, Steve knows the challenges of moving abroad and he relentlessly drives a customer-centric approach. Steve was previously an Associate Partner at Oliver Wyman, where he lead multi-million dollar consulting engagements across North America and EMEA.
His work spanned cross-industry, focusing on helping clients turn data into actionable insights and operational improvements. He also successfully designed, developed and funded a new pen on Kickstarter, reaching his funding goal in less than 48 hours. Steve holds a BsC in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
