Following our Series B funding announcement, we are honored to be nominated by Startups.co.uk for the Venture Funding Business of the Year, as well as the People's Champion Finalist. This year, we have also been recognized by Startup.co.uk as one of the top 100 startups and leading entrepreneurs in the UK.
The HR technology industry is also in the international spotlight, with HR and recruitment software startups accumulating $811.6 million from venture capital investors in the first half of 2015 (WSJ). However, talent mobility is the last area of HR to adopt modern platform technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Our investors, NEA and Notion Capital, are very excited by the opportunity for MOVE Guides to fill this massive gap in the market and bring enterprise software to talent mobility. Raising venture capital funding is extremely challenging but also an exciting opportunity to demonstrate the passion and vision behind our business.
Our Series B funding will be used towards the continued global expansion of MOVE Guides in San Francisco and plans to launch new products to improve the employee relocation experience and to help companies estimate, manage and optimize costs across their mobility program.
