FEM Americas 2015: MOVE Guides Recap

Just the other week MOVE Guides was in attendance at the 2015 FEM Americas Summit and EMMAs, where we were shortlisted for awards in two categories: Relocation Management Company of the Year and the Most Innovative use of Technology in Global Mobility. It was a busy two days of networking and learning with many takeaways from the event. Here are our key ones from the MOVE Guides delegation. An exciting part of the educational tracks was the focus on technology and the role it plays in the future of global mobility management. As the global mobility function evolves to meet the demand of business stakeholders and changing demographics of relocating employees, the need for best in class technology adoption will continue to be a priority. From improving employee experience, to ensuring compliance, modern global mobility technology solutions enable mobility managers to deliver on their key performance metrics.

Not surprising, delivering a great employee experience was another common theme across many of the sessions. As mobility and HR professionals, the employee will always be at the core of what we do.

It was great to meet so many people at our booth. We really enjoyed learning about the challenges many of you face in driving continuous improvements in your talent mobility programs as modern technology, new demographics and a global economy require you to innovate faster than ever.

If you didn’t get a chance to meet the MOVE Guides team at the FEM Americas Summit, you will get another opportunity at the Global Workforce Symposium this October, so please stop by and see us at booth 805: we have some exciting surprises awaiting you there! And our CEO, Brynne Herbert, will be talking on stage about the "Changing Face of Global Mobility" on Thursday October 8th at 3:15pm.

See you in Boston on October 7th!
